On the 9th of May, Turtle Head Brewing Company held a stall at the Goosnargh Farmers Market. Our day started at 7 am with set up; thankfully, we managed to fit all our stock into my little car! Set up was easy and pain-free, and by 9 am we were ready to open! The day was beautiful, with lots of sun and plenty of smiling faces at our stall.
As usual, we sold the recommended mixed packs of six or eight, as well as individual bottles. We always sell mixed packs because people like the ability to choose how many bottles of a given style they want, and it also lets our customers pick one of each of our products to try. If you find yourself in need of a mixed pack, then follow our social media to see which farmers market we will be at next.
By 12 pm we sold out of our first product, Gorilla’s Finger! It surprised me that a stout was the first to sell out on a gorgeous, sunny day, but we were not complaining; not long after, we also sold out of Driftwood, our amber ale. By the end of the farmers market, we sold out of all our beers, which certainly made the trip back easier.
So, overall, a good day out, and we’ll certainly be going back to Goosnargh next time it’s on. We want to thank everyone who tasted and bought our beer! Remember 50% of our profits will be going to the Orange Foundation.
