Bricklayer Wheat-Free is the bottled version of Turtle Head’s premium lager, brewed to be both gluten-free and wheat-free. If you’ve tried Bricklayer in the can and want to stock up in bottles, this is it. If you’re avoiding wheat specifically rather than gluten more broadly, this is the one to reach for. Cliffhanger is the only other beer in the range that shares both credentials.
At 5.2% ABV, it sits slightly stronger than the canned Bricklayer, though the character is the same: a clean, pale continental lager with a light malt base and a crisp, dry finish. It pours a clear, golden straw colour, drinks smoothly, and doesn’t ask much of you. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
Brewed gluten-free and wheat-free, and suitable for vegans.

Best served cold. Good with most things, or nothing at all.
