Gluten-free, low-alcohol, and not what you’d expect.
Ninja is Turtle Head’s 0.5% ABV pale ale, a gluten-free low-alcohol beer that is brewed the traditional way, which is exactly what makes it unique. Most low-alcohol beers taste like something is missing but as Ninja is brewed using conventional methods rather than having alcohol removed later in the process, the difference shows in the glass.
Ninja uses American hops picked for their zesty, citrus flavours, so it has the bright, hoppy aroma you’d expect from a regular pale ale. The malt base keeps it balanced and gives it enough body, so it doesn’t taste thin.
At 0.5% ABV, Ninja sits within the legal definition of alcohol-free in the UK, making it a perfect option for drivers, non-drinkers, or anyone cutting back but still wanting to enjoy a good beer. The fact that it’s also gluten-free makes it one of the more inclusive options in the low-alcohol market.
